About Us

The Baker family is always up for an adventure! We (Luke and Megan) have been married for 15 years and have 5 amazing children together. Luke is an officer in the US Army and Megan works from home for a non-profit organization. We both grew-up with dogs in our families, and we cannot imagine a home without a furry friend. Luke and Megan have owned multiple breeds including terrier and hound breeds. Our first dogs together were beagles, and we loved them into their old age. We fell in love with Dalmatians because of their athleticism, beauty, and charming personality.

We LOVE Dalmatians and take great pride in training and showing them at AKC Conformation events. Our family enjoys the adventure of loading up in our Suburban and traveling to shows throughout America. Last year we attended AKC events throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Indiana. Our kids have seen the country on our travels and have also had the opportunity to show our dogs in conformation events. One of our 8-year old daughters was showing Padmé at a show last year when she took the Best of Breed title. We take part in the “Owner Handled” show series and consider it a privilege to show our own dogs in the ring. There is something very special about the relationship between an owner and their dog when they work together toward a common goal.

Our family passions include travel, education, gardening, and animals. We are all involved with our dogs on a daily basis and find great joy in training and caring for our big dogs and puppies alike. The personal attention and care that we give to our dogs puts them in a different category of companions.

We are proud members of the Dalmatian Club of America and the Dalmatian Club of North Texas.
